Ukrainian cuisine is the cuisine of the ethnic Ukrainian people.
Ukrainian cuisine is found throughout Ukraine and some dishes are shared with neighboring cuisines, especially Russian. Ukrainian cuisine is related to other Slavic cuisines including Russian cuisine, Belarusian cuisine, and Polish cuisine.

Wheat and rye are traditional staple foods.
Beetroot and its leaves are used. Beetroots are pickled and stewed.
Berries and other fruits are enjoyed fresh and preserved.
Dairy is common.
