Balinese Cuisine

Balinese cuisine is the cuisine of the Balinese people, mainly from the island of Bali in Indonesia.

Balinese culture has a historic Hindu influence which carries over in many ways. For example, pork is a prominent ingredient while beef is avoided.

Denpasar is a cultural center.
