Samoan Cuisine
Samoan cuisine is the food culture of the Samoan people, mainly from the islands of Samoa
Today, the Samoan islands are split politically between the Independent State of Samoa and American Samoa. Still, they are united by cultural traditions and language. The Samoan language is related to other Polynesian languages such as Tongan and Hawaiian.
Apia is the main city of the Samoan islands.
Large meals are traditionally prepared in an umu or earth oven.
Traditional Samoan dances include the fire knife dance(siva afi), slap dance(fa’ataupati), maulu’ulu, and other dances.
