Salvadoran Cuisine

Salvadoran cuisine is the cuisine of the Salvadoran people of El Salvador.

Mestizo culture is dominant in El Salvador, a fusion of Spanish and indigenous cultures. Pipil and Nahuan people are major indigenous influences, related to the Aztec people. Lencan people are also a significant influence, who perhaps came from ancient central Honduras.
