Kurdish Cuisine
Kurdish cuisine is the cuisine of the Kurds or Kurdish people whose homeland, sometimes called Kurdistan, spans several counties, mainly Turkey, Syria, Iraq, and Iran.
Diyarbakir, Turkey is a historic city with strong Kurdish presence. Erbil, Iraq is another major city with significant Kurdish population.
Kurds speak the Kurdish language, which is related to Persian. Different dialects of Kurdish exist.
