Catalan cuisine is the traditional cuisine of the Catalonia region of eastern Spain.

  • picada: cooking sauce, typically with almond or another nut, dried bread, garlic, saffron, and parsley
  • coca: sweet or savory topped flatbread, related to pizza
  • cod with raisins and pine nuts
  • mar i muntanya: meat and fish or seafood, often served with rice
  • ollada: meat and vegetable stew
  • escudella: stew with seasoned meatballs and other ingredients, often with the broth served separately from the cooked ingredients
