Pashtun Cuisine

Pashtun cuisine is the food culture of the Pashtun people. The Pashtun people mainly live in their traditional homeland in southern Afghanistan and northwestern Pakistan.

Pashtun people speak the Pashto language, historically called Afghani.

Kandahar(کندهار), Afghanistan and Quetta(کوټه‎), Pakistan are traditional Pashtun cultural centers. Kabul(کابل), Afghanistan and Peshawar(پېښور), Pakistan are major cities with significant Pashtun populations.
